Apologies!!!!!!!

Well I am going to update to the end of my pregnancy. I am very bad at keeping this blog up to date. I'm sorry! I PROMISE that I will do better once she is born, at least until I go back to work. This pregnancy has been pretty uneventful (which is good). I am going to post the some belly pictures up until now.

26 weeks and 6 days

There's not a whole lot to post about this week. I posted a picture, the belly is definitely getting BIG. I was told last week that I was going to be as big as a barrel by the end by a complete stranger. I don't understand how people can say things like to someone they don't know. I know it's true, so I didn't get mad! We are going for a 4-D ultrasound on friday, I am curious to see what she looks like. The baby bed came in last thursday, mom and I put it together. Her room is starting to look a little like a nursery. Sometime soon the boys are going to start on her changing table, after that it's smooth sailing.
Hopefully I will have some information to post on the birth of my nephew soon. Leirin is 4 1/2 centimeters dilated. She was having contractions all last weekend but he doesn't want to come out in this cold weather.

As of yesterday the small fry has figured out how to make me a nervous mess in a short amount of time. She had hardly been moving at all Sunday and Monday. Early Monday afternoon I decided to call my doctor to see what he thought, he told me to eat a snack, drink some cold water and lay on my side for 30 minutes, count how many times she moves in that period of time. She had slightly moved 2 times, they were really light movements. He wanted me to come in just to make sure that everything was alright. I left work, was on my way there, we got to the parking lot and the little turkey starting moving. I couldn't believe it!! I went in, Dr. Zielke listened to her heartbeat, 152 beats/ minute, he even got her to kick the monitor on my belly. I was very relieved to hear her heartbeat. Now I am supposed to do kick counts. Hopefully she doesn't do that to me again. Other than that things have been really good. I am starting to move more slowly and the belly is getting bigger and bigger. Brian and I have an appointment with the daycare on Thursday, we'll see how that goes. I am curious to see what kind of questions Brian has for her. You would think that I would be able to post on here more often being that I am on the computer every evening. One of these days I will actually post on a weekly basis. (don't hold your breath)

Wow!!! This girl is moving all the time now. It is so amazing to experience. It is now getting harder for me to do the same things as I used to, tying my shoes, bending over for something. I am now feeling more like a pregnant woman. We bought "Sprouts" bedding earlier this week. I am so excited to start working more on her nursery. I think we are going to paint her room over the New Years holiday. That's how I am going to ring in my new year. I don't have a whole lot to say this time. I have been leading a pretty boring life lately. I have attached a few more pictures since I don't get on here regularly to post them.
